Happy New Everyone!!!
I'm looking to enhance the looks of my 2022 PRO 4X with either a levelling or
lift kit
Has anyone out there already tried this? And what was your experience like?
Initially, was thinking 2"-3" in the front. Maybe an 1" in the rear so that there is
no rake or angle front to back. Just want the truck to sit level....
Also, since I don't work or tow the vehicle, I have no real concerns other than
purchasing a good quality product that has been around with good reviews.
Finally, would this mod void the manufacturer warranty?
So far I've added a hard tri-fold tonneau, side-step rails (a hood deflector is on
order). Love my new truck. Can't complain about gas mileage too much since
I've traded for this vehicle with a 2019 Ram Rebel. (downsizing!)
Thanks for looking, let's all hope for a better year ahead. Cheers

Hey Lee,
Happy New Year to You and Everyone as well.
Personally I wouldn't Raise or Lower the suspension. I
don't think that it will help your Resale Value and a Good
Possibility that it will hurt it.
Raising the Suspension will affect your headlight's and is
a good chance that it will blind or at least hamper the
Vision of other Driver's approaching you. I was recently
headed toward a full size truck that was raised, and I
couldn't see anything in my lane going forward, because his
headlight's were Blinding My Vision. Very Dangerous for
other driver's, but He didn't care about other driver's
shareing the road with him. Also Raising the Suspension
will affect how the Truck Handle's and Steer's, especially
in Curve's and Quick Emergency Maneuvering.
For My Truck, I added a Nissan Class IV Receiver, Anderson
Billet aluminum Draw Bar- rated above max towing weight, SS
Locking Pin, Bully SS hitch ball(7K lb max), UWS Aluminum
Diamond Plate Rail to Rail Tool Box, Bed Liner, SS Step
Rail's, side body protector's, front hood protector, and My
Truck Sit's Very Close to Level. Those addition's will
help the Resale Value Too, imo.
Even though you don't intend on doing any towing, a Hitch
can come in Real Handy even though You Never thought you'd
use it. Think UHaul Trailer, Rental's that are on a
Trailer, Moveing useing a Trailer. I can't think of all
the possible need's that a Trailer Hitch can be used for
but there are a Lot of Them.
Pickup Truck's are Utility Vehicle's and they sit Higher in
the Rear when Empty, so that when Cargo is added to the Bed
that they sit more level, instead of haveing the Rear End
Sagging Lower, and haveing the Headlight's Blinding other
Driver's.
When doing any type of Mod,, I alway's try to think in
term's of Resale Value,, and whether it will Help or Hurt
MoneyWise. In other word's ~ Looks Good, Adds Weight(Rear
End), Adds Function, Adds Value; That's pretty much what I
think about when doing a Mod or Accessory. Thing's that I
think help Resale Value are: Front Hood Protector, Side
Body Protector's, Floor Mat's, Leather Steering Wheel
cover, Neoprene Seat Cover's, Scangauge II, Bed Liner, UWS
Tool Box, Nissan Class IV Receiver, Anderson Billet
Aluminum Draw Bar(Must Measure or Get Adjustable, for
Correct Drop or Rise, to make Trailer Sit Level), SS Hitch
Ball, SS Draw Bar Lock, SS Step Rail's,
etc. Not in any particular order, These are thing's that
will help Truck Resale Value imo.
In the End, For Many of us, it will come a time to Sell or
Trade and that's when the Rubber Hit's the Road. When it
come's to Used Truck's and there is a Very High Demand for
a Good Used Truck, Knowledgeable Buyer's don't want any
mod's done to the Engine, Exhaust, or Suspension from what
I hear talking to them. The Closer to OEM the better they
like it.
Just My Opinion for what it's worth.
Good Luck,

Hello Barney, thanks for all the valuable info. I very much appreciate your
experience and insight. Lots to digest here...
I did forget to mention the truck came with a Nissan Class IV receiver hitch.
To which I immediately inserted the WeatherTech Step insert from the RAM.
Continuing to get use to the smaller size though, honestly, loving it. But it's still
a transition....(its an aging thing).
On a side note, This is the first time, in my experience, that a dealer has cut me
a cheque for the difference. So right now the trade in value is extremely high
for vehicles in general and trucks in particular. Thought I would take the
plunge with a "hot" market in my favour. Cheers from the great white north,

The simplest and safest leveling you can do to the 22-up Frontier is
the Z1 1.5" front spacers. Anything more than 1.5-2" lift in the front will
cause control arm contact to the spring bucket on the strut assembly.
That will require the installation of aftermarket upper control arms. The
1.5" Z1 spacer will just about level the truck. I did not even have to
adjust the headlights. I had my wife drive towards me in her '21 WRX
and she was not bothered by my headlights which have LED bulbs in
place.
