Hey everyone,

I've been scouring the Internet for 2005-2006 Nissan Frontier Forums, which led me here.  I don't own one right now.  I still have my slammed all to hell Hardbody which you can see in my signature.

I'm looking at getting an '06 KC NISMO 6-spd, Storm Gray.

..

PIMPaLiCiOuS;

... Howdy and welcome to the Group.

I bet that hard body rides like a truck. Do you have to dig a trench to drive it in?

I had a red Hard Body but put BFG 31x10.50x 15s on it. They are a lot better for the spinal column.

Have a good one and  ;)  CUL.. Don S..

Welcome, now that brings me back to the good ole days when I used to have a slammed hardbody.  But I fried 2 computers, and traded it in on a 02 Frontier, then traded that in on a Chevy Colorado.  (I'm currently in the works of rolling the Colorado to get back into a Frontier)

Here's my old Hardbody right before I traded her in.  I took off all my good stuff and sold it to friend, and put all the stuff it came with back on.  Half of it I put on there, like the strip in the middle of the tool box, stickers, and the mudflaps.
Old High School days there.  I had it looking nice though, I had pulled the tool box, rails, and flaps off when I lowered it.  I was working on a bed cover, but then the ECUs fried on me.  BTW, those are 16" Mazda rims on there, had to have the centers trimmed out to fit onto my truck.

Hahaha, awesome.  I should show you guys all my other pictures.  I have the '95 chrome Pathfinder rims on mine right now.  Yah, I still love slammed minis, but I found a new love in the new Frontier and lifted trucks.  Sorry to hear about the Chevy Colorado.

Here's a pic w/ a '97 Tacoma 4x4 bumper mounted

A nice side shot

And finally, the ridiculousness of the slam. . .

I remember I used to be able to only fit 2 fingers under mine.  Everytime I'd slam on the brakes my frame would scrap the ground, so I had to ride the brakes everytime I wanted to stop.

that makes me wanna cry like a baby!!!!

trucks go UP young man, UP!!!!!! lol no seriously... welcome to the forum

my buddy always asks me when i'm gonna slam my 01 CC SE lol and i just laugh at him, i told him if it ever gets a ride height change it's not going down...but it'd only get a 1-2 inch maybe max of 3 inch lift since it's a 4x2 don't see the need to get nasty with it, but would like a little higher ride height

quick question, if i revert back to those charcoal colored 15 inch rims that came on the XE's can i compensate by getting bigger tires to make same ride height i have now and not throw off my speedometer? does anyone know how that would be affected

Yah, I've tried different combinations and tires and such being slammed as well.  I use this nice little program given to me a looooooong time ago.  I'm aware that it says Miata, but that doesn't matter. Just enter in your stock tire size info, and then what you plan on going to. . .then you can keep messing with different aspects until you get back to stock, or as close to it:

Yep, that's a great little program, I used it to figure how far my Speedo was off on my Colorado.  Turns out I have a 10% error.  So when my speedo says I'm doing 60, I'm actually closer to 66 MPH

I think my spedo is a bit slower than it says, cause it feels like I am crawling on the freeway at 55....maybe that why I don't get pulled over when passing a cop at 10 over, lol j/k

Easiest way to check is find a vehicle with reputable speedo.  Then compare.

Or for more accurate, get a high end GPS.  They can tell you exactly how fast you're going.
