I have 2002 Frontier that has remote door locks which I beleive is factory installed. When I first start the truck, put it in gear, just as I start to move I hear a relay click under the D/S dash.

I am thinking this is for automatic door locks but nothing happens.
Did the 2002 Frontier have this option? Thanks.

Do you have the book available to look to? My 01 does the same thing but I do not think it is for the door lock. I will check through my book and see what it is, I know i saw it in there once, I think it had to do with the abs.

I hate vehicles that auto lock the doors when you put them in gear. My wife had a chevy that did that. If I have a wreck or pass from any reason, I want people to be able to open the door and get me out. If I'm an area where I think the doors should be locked, I can darn sure lock them myself.
