Greetings folks, question on the manual lock (free/lock) hubs on the frontiers.  if you have the manual system like this, what are the advantages of driving with the hubs set to Free mode?  help mpg at all?  it seems to make sense to leave the locks in LOCK so in case you need 4x4 you can just shift into 4H while on the road...

...or am I missing something here?

good to know, after switching it back to FREE it does feel like the drivetrain is a true 4x2.  plus it was simple enough to switch the hubs back in case anything else floods out here =)
