Greetings all,

Starting out this week shopping for a used Frontier (98+) and wanted to see what items I should be on the lookout for that are specific to the Frontier. 

ie - on Honda Civics many can suffer from hunting/surging idle which is due to a dirty/bad IACV or FITV on the throttle body.  So that should be checked before buying a used one.

That is the type of info I am searching for, items specific to either the Frontier or just general Compact Truck that need to be checked over before buying a used one.  I currently have my eye on a 99 XE 4x4 4cyl Manual Supercab with a matched Lund Cap, but it needs to be test driven yet again to see if there is any "clunk" noises from the tranny.  BTW how loud are bad syncros in these things?
