I have a quick question. I purchased a 2004 Nissan XE crew cab about a month ago. It has a v6 which I think puts out 180 hp. Now it does not seem as quick as I would like it to be. Is that due to the weight of the truck? Compared to other trucks does it weigh alot more? Let me know.
Thanks.

If you look on the inside of the driver side door there should be a sticker with all the information you need as far a GVW.

I just wanted to know why it doesn't seem quick. I'm thinking it because of the weight.

Gross vehicle weight, the number listed on the inside of your door, is not the same as curb weight. GVW is the weight of the vehicle plus passengers, cargo, etc. The curb weight of an 04 XE is around 3800 pounds. I got that info here: http://www.autosite.com/content/research/vir/index.cfm/vehic le_number_int/1014603/Action/StandardFeatures

That's actually not too bad. I have an 05 king cab 4x4 with a V6 and I weighed at the local landfill. With me (170 lbs) and half a tank of gas it came out to 4500 pounds. Tubby! :)
