Hi, all.   i have a 2002 Frontier SC.  I need to remove the cowl (grill or whatever ya call it) to access the windshield wiper linkage for repair.  Don't want to force anything because it's very cold here, And the plastic could easily break.  How can I remove it intact?

Remove the wiper arms, squeeze the white plastic retainers
for the rubber strip from the bottom side to remove, gently
lift the cowl pieces to release the fasteners. (turned the
wipers on while they were frozen did ya'????) Might want to
make sure the nuts are tight that secure the arms to the
pivots.

I was in Tahoe over new years where it was 2 below and saw folks pull the wiper arms away from the window (like when you wash windows they stick up on their own) during the overnight hours.
