Just an update...I have just about 33,000 miles on my 07 SE (V6, auto, 4 wheel drive). I just had a tire rotation and balance done on the tires and I have 8/32 inches of tread left on these. Looks like I will get at least 40,000 miles on these which is not bad for original equipment tires. They have handled gravel roads at speeds up to 50-55 mph, high speed driving over long distances and snow/ice. Never had a flat or any tire damage. They have worn smoothly and this is only the third rotation for them. I have run them at about 37-38 psi, a bit over the door panel recommended pressure.
My guess is that byt inspection time next year (April/May, I'll need to replace them to pass. Probably go with one of the Cooper truck tires with a higher wear rating.

Interesting, I have 27K on my 08, just checked the wear and I have 9/32 tread left, I was aiming to get 50K out of these tires, but does not look likely.
In the past, I have bought Michelin X Radials lasting 80K.
I was also impressed with uniroyal Liberator, (sold at Walmart) I had over 30K with plenty of tread left, ended up selling my pathfinder. Unroyal and BFG are made/owned by Michelin.
My dad has LTX A/S Michelins on his Ram 2500 4X4 has 75K on them, and has tread left.

Hey Boomer, you got me thinking...
I have a tire tread gauge. I measured my spare tire, (BFG long trail, never saw pavement) and it is 11/32 depth.
You have 33K and used 3/32 tread, so figure roughly 1/32 tread for every 10K miles. I do know that 2/32 is the baldest legal depth, so looks like they will last 90K??
( 11-32 (new tire) minus 2/32( bare minimum) gives you 9/32)
Also in your case if you used 3/32 in 33K miles, does that mean at 66K you will have used 6/32 tread?
I did google BFG longtrail mileage, and saw F150 users say they got 70K on them
Time will tell.

They might last that long but on my tires, I am losing the siping and have on the center tread bar just a piece of thick solid rubber. While they won't hydroplane, the won't give any snow traction by next year and won't handle any form of surface mud on dirt roads well at all. But I have been impressed by how they have worn overall for an oem tire. And they ride smootly and are very quiet.
I'd be tempted to use Goodrich All Terrains on this truck except for the price....$207/tire at any of the local tire people plus mounting and balancing costs! General AT2 tires are almost the same tread and are $125 each at the local Ford dealer plus M&B. Coopers are in the same price range.

I have over 33K on my original BFG Longtrails and even though they passed inspection in Nov I don't believe they'll see another winter after this one. I was actually a little surprised they did pass. I sure don't have the confidence in them in the snow I used to due to the wear on them. Hopefully will make it through this winter at least.

mine has 29k, the 2 that were on the front are worn funny,
former owner, lady driver, never roated them. The worn 2
tires sing a bit, they are now in the rear, not nearly as
noticable. These tires last a long time, i have read 60k is
average.
