I just found this forum today. Could not be happier about it!
I have a 2005 Nismo Crew 45K miles. Leased it new, when the lease was up I bought it. LOVE it.
I have 2 issues going on right now that I hope someone can shed some light on...when coming to a stop, just when the truck is moving VERY slowly, (maybe 1 or 2 mph), there is a small tap/bang from the front right wheel. NO vibration in the truck itself and NO vibration felt in the steering wheel. The Nissan dealer looked at it when they checked my brakes and said everything looks fine. (BTW, when driving there is no pull nor vibration.)
2nd issue...I have noticed that there is NEVER any water leaking when my A/C is on, nor after I shut it off. Now I hear a liquid swishing noise in the front passenger side when in stop and go traffic. Does this mean the A/C is clogged?
HELP!!! THIS IS DRIVING ME CRAZY!! LOL!
Thanks, Keith

Most likely a bad u-joint on the front driveshaft-check all of them to be sure. From under the truck you should be able to locate the evap drain, apply compressed air to unblock.

Thanks.  I have never opened the hood of my truck personally.

Where is this evap drain located, and what does it look like?

Thanks again,

Keith

-OH!!!  By the way, was I seeing things yesterday?  I could swear I saw a Suzuki truck that had an identical shape to my Frontier? WTF?

The Suzuki Equator is a rebadged Frontier. Nissan and Suzuki have a deal where Nissan supplies truck for the North American market to be sold under the Suzuki name while Suzuki makes mini cars to be sold in Japan as Nissan's. This happens all the time, Mitsubishi and Chrysler did it throughout the '80's and 90's (Eagle Talon = Mitsubishi Eclipse, Dodge Colt = Mitsubishi Lancer, etc.).

I would agree with the bad u-joints. I just had mine replace on Friday and the clicking sound iand vibration is gone. Don't wait, You will start getting major vibration in your truck over time. I only paid $167 for part and installation of both U-joints.
