Just got a nice and clean 06 Frontier XE and am looking for a bed cover. I would prefer a hardtop, locking type but need max lightweight version,as I will be putting a motorcycle in the back fairly frequently. Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.  I seem to like the Undercover product, but have never seen one in real life.  FG

The FlipBak (i think that's it's name) is probably the best bet for what you're looking for.  Its a hard style that you can lock, but you can also fold it up and it will open up your entire bed unlike the Pace Edwards.  Plus it's a lot easier to maintain than a Pace Edwards.  The coolest part is most of them are flush mount styles, so you don't have this lump sticking up from your bed, it'll be all smooth looking.

I have a Undercover on a 07 LE long bed. It does lock but requires two people to remove it. It does keep all the contents dry and the gas struts make it easy to operate. If I was to carry a lot large loads I would probably look for a cover that made the bed more accessable.
