I thank the people who have attempted to help me find the plugs. However, I am now more confused than ever. Spark plug replacement . I know you remove the coils first, then the plugs. But are the coils visible when you pop the hood, or do you need to remove things off the engine before you can get to the plugs?
I don't see anything that looks like a coil when I open the hood, except alot of plastic covering up the engine and manifolds.

on my 06 they are on top of the rockerarm covers.

Jake, if you are talking about a V-6, the coils are on top of the valve covers, 3 on each side. The passenger side coils look like you will need a 1/4 inch drive 10mm swivel socket on a long extension to get them out due to the fact they are under the intake plenum or remove the plenum. Haven't had the opportunity to replace any plugs on a V-6 yet. Good for 105,000 miles.
