Hi everyone, Want to buy a 2002-2004 Frontier and would like to know if 1.) Nissan has build codes somewhere on the truck showing all the different options on that particular vehicle, and 2.) if so, does anyone have a decoder? Basically, is there any way for me to tell what options a used Frontier has on it? GMs (or at least Corvettes) have a build code sticker in the glovebox and one of the guys on corvetteforum.com posted a decoder so you can tell exactly what the car has on it. I'm getting rid of my troublesome Ford and want to go back to what I had in college: a good old bulletproof Nissan truck. I want a Crew Cab, V-6, 4WD, and I would like to know in advanced if it has limited-slip diff, power windows and locks since I may be traveling quite a ways to look at one.
P.S. Anyone know why the Auto tranny is listed for 5000 lb towing while the manual is only 3500 (per nissanhelp.com)?
Thanks for your help.
