I know that it is the same truck, but what a monumental mis-step from a marketing (brand recognition), and PR standpoint!  The Frontier and NISMO are much more well established the the Titan and PRO-4X.  I've never even heard of PRO-4X before reading these articles, and wouldn't recognize a Titan PRO-4X if I saw one.  You see a sticker on the back of a bed of a Frontier, and you know it's a NISMO.  For a while now, I thought they should have expanded the NISMO trim line to the X-Terra and Titan

While not as monumental as New Coke or the Ford 500, I envision a 180 in a few years.  Also, there should be a group of Nissan NA marketing numbnuts looking for new jobs.
