I have a 2005 Nissan Frontier XE that I am ordering wheels and tires for.  I bought this 4 cylinder truck for good gas mileage and I dont want to lose much of my mpg but I also want the truck to look good.  The truck is black so I am blacking it all out.  So far I have a black grill, black headlights, black taillights, and I have removed all emblems.  I am having all the plastic panted to that it will match the black paint of the truck as well.

I ordered moto metal 950's in a 18x9 wheel and they have to drill the holes to fit my bolt pattern of 6x4.5.  I am going to have these wheels powder coated black. I have not decided on flat black or gloss black yet any suggestions would be nice.  Also what size of tire should I go with in order to keep the best gas mileage as possible and also to make sure the tires do not rub on the truck or wheel wells.  Any suggestions on brand / type of tire and size of tire would definitely help me out.

Thanks!

If you are going for mpg, stay with a light weight P rated tire with a very mild street tread like the Long Trail or something similar.  If you want traction, then the tire will be a bit or a lot heavier depending on brand.  LT tires are typically heavier and will cost you some mpg.  You need to decide what it is you want most.
