We've got one son who is a 1st leutenant over there in Baghdad.  He's been patrolling the streets for you.  Had a humvee blown up just in front of him 2 days ago.  3 of his soldiers were hurt.  The sargent had his leg broke.  He is home in Ft. Carson, now and the other two were shooken up but back in the saddle, the next day.

Drive carefully!  It's not your neighborhood sandbox.

God speed home!  We'll be praying for all of you!!

I used to say the Army and Marines have it worse.  But here lately we "fly boys" have been in the mix as well.  One group just came back home from doing convoy duty and they lost 1 while there, and 2 injured enough to come back early.  I would say luckily it was none who worked in my flight, but it doesn't matter where they worked when you know that person will never see his family again. 

Keep your head down, and watch your back.  Who knows, maybe I'll see you while I'm over there.

You have our support in what you are doing and going to endure. I am in the Air Force and spent several months in Iraq last year. I tell you, besides my family, I missed driving my frontier. Now I am serving in Korea for the next year. And once again, I miss that truck. I would love to take it for a spin right now and do some off roading. But again good luck and be safe.
