I owned a 1995 Nissan Pickup for 11 years and put 320K miles on it.  And quite a bit of that 320 was fairly rough at times.  I did have to replace the tranny on it, and naturally went through two timing chains.  But that was it !  Dang thing still runs good, although its falling apart here and there.  I just sold it to a friend and we might watch hit 400k or beyond.

So I decided to take the plunge on a new truck, and what vehicle to you think that I bought.  Duh, I would be rat if I decided to change brands after all of the service the old Pickup gave me.  I got a 2007 NISMO 4x4.

Anyway, sorry to now finally get to my issue.  I have a bad back and the seats on the old truck fit my back perfectly.  I have only driven the new one for a day, and I have to say the seats hurt my back.  This was something that I could not tell in the test drive since that lasted only 10 minutes.  I am hoping that it may have just been an extra stressfull day that did it and that it was not the seats.  But I think it really mite be the seats.  I could be doomed.  Seats are maybe the single most important thing to me, cuz of my disc problems.  I might have just paid 23k for a truck I can't use.  Any suggestions or words of wisdom on this?

..

alienstar;

Welcome to the group!

... Due to a back problem I reshaped the seatback in my '99 Frontier. I pulled the seat cover up 3/4 ths of the way from the bottom, while still mounted in the truck then with a very large very sharp bowie knife removed some of the foam. Now it is comfy and the wife even likes it.

BTW.. The bowie knife way much larger than the one Crocodile Dundee was so proud of.

Have a good one while you can still laugh about it.. Don S..

There was a time when some people got rich buy providing a better product at a lower price.

Now they get rich by ripping us off and paying off the politicians. Can you spell DEREGULATION

Hmm.  At least that would be an option if I can't find something else to do.  Yesterday was fine but I only drove for and hour.  I might be OK, plus I just found some extra adjustments to make which I will try if needed. thanks for your reply.  I will have a couple other questions relating to truck over the next few days.
