Hey everyone, just bought a new 07 crew cab SE and its worth every dollar I
emptied out of my bank account.

Im sure I will be back with more questions as I stretch her legs.
I was reading through the manual and I read that an octane rating of at least
91 is optimal for her. With super being upwards of $3 these days, is this
absolutely necessary? I know better octane eliminates knocking, and
knocking is bad, but have you noticed any difference between octanes?

Either way, I will be feeding her nothing but the best throughout the break-
in period. What baby wants, baby gets.

Regular gas is fine. The frontiers run just fine on it, better than Tacomas in fact.

I would only use a higher octane if I was towing.  Otherwise, stick to regular.

Over 25k on my 2005, all on 87 octane, no problems whatsoever.  I do a Mobil 1 oil change and use valvoline synpower fuel system cleaner every 3k and my truck runs like it did when I first brought it home.
