I'd like to replace my electric mirrors with heated ones in my 06 Frontier LE King Cab.  Does anyone know how much of a project that would be?  I am also interested in replacing the interior rearview with the compass/temp model.  I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone with experience with either replacement.

The mirror is fairly easy to do.  If you can swap out speakers, you should be able to do it.  You should be able to get it through the dealer.  Will be a bit more money but will have instructions for your vehicle.  Some aftermarket (as Donnelly ) sometimes come with model specific instructions

After you posted this, it got me wondering if I had heated mirrors.  Turns out I do!  By hitting the rear defroster my mirrors activate.  Surprise!  Maybe you already have them?

(I'm new here so forgive me as I don't know your familiarity with the vehicle)

Hi Jim.. Just received the rearview compass/temp/autodim mirror via fedEx today.  Was searching for info regarding the removal of the old.  Install of the new seems pretty simple. Rob
