Hello everyone,

I’m looking to purchase a 2006 frontier crew cab LE or Nismo in the next couple of days and was wondering if they offered the long bed option like they do for the 2007. I have called a couple of dealers and I'm getting mixed answers. it shows the bed to be 59.5 inches. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I need a bed about 5.6 or bigger (the long bed at 73 inches would be perfect) and don’t what a full size.

I don't believe that the long bed option was offered on the 05-06 models, I believe it took a hiatus from 04 to the 07 models and that is only on the LE I believe that it is offered. If you want a longer bed on your Frontier you will need to get the King Cab and a bed extender to take advantage of that extra space it opens up in the bed.

Long bed option is also available on the '07 SE. In fact I think that is the only bed now available on the SE. Gord

The long bed is not offered on the 2006 models. That is the problem I had. I use 6' ladders alot and wanted the longer bed. The longer bed came back out in 2007. They did have that oprtion on some of the early 2000's crewcabs as well.
