I'm ready to replace the stock muffler on my 2004 Crew Cab, and I need the inlet/outlet sizes so I can order the new muffler. Does anyone know what the stock sizes are? My dealership says their computer doesn't show that info, which seems strange to me, but I don't want to order the wrong size. Thanks.

I believe the stock pipe sizes are 2" inlet and 2" outlet, either that or it's 2.25" I/O diameters, are you just replacing the muffler or going with a catback exhaust change?

I found out that it's actually 2.5" inlet and 2.25" outlet. I had a local muffler shop install a Magnaflow muffler and double-walled stainless steel tip for me. It was much cheaper than a full cat-back system, and it turned out quite nice. It could be a bit louder for my tastes, but it has a nice growl, and it doesn't drone at highway speeds. It must have given me a bit of horsepower boost too, because I can feel some extra power. Next it's time for a cold air intake!
