I was in long beach this weekend (ugg).  I was in a parking garage at the Pike and some guy had a woman pinned down on the ground and she was screaming "please stop, don't do this."  Naturally, I thought he was raping her.  So, I got in my truck, pulled up and honked the horn (thinking the guy would run).

I am in the military - what I did wasn't the smartest thing ever, but as I said I was thinking he was raping her.  Another guy ran up and tried to pull him off of her and he kicked the other guy - knocked him back a few feet.

Anyway - this bad guy jumps up, runs to my truck and starts banging on the hood.  Then he runs around the side, kicks my door and hits my window HARD.  he dented the hood and the door.

I got out of there and got the police, they caught the guy and arrested him.  I am pretty sure he was on drugs or something (there were a lot of druggies there for a reggae concert).  This guy was just really on something...just enraged.  They took him downtown and said they would do tests to see what he was on.  Meanwhile, turns out it was his own family he was assualting, and his family wasn't talking.  I told the cops he would have killed someone had i not interfered.

Again - I thought this was a rape (and it very well may have turned into that).  I wouldn't have interfered if I thought it was just domestic.

Anyway, he ripped my Nissan symbol right off the front grill of my 05 Frontier.  I was just hoping maybe someone here would have one they would sell cheap since you guys probably put custom grills and stuff on your trucks.

Looks Like I am probably out $$ on the dented hood (he must have broke his hand doing that) and the dented rear driver side door.

Wow - Random that is an awesome offer!  I do not know the part # (not sure there is one).  It's the Nissan symbol on the front grill of my 05 fronty.

You do not however need to send this free - I have no problem paying.

And that you for your thanks!  I just returned from Iraq myself and it's nice to know that people care.

Welcome back, I leave again this September or so again.  Not sure if it's Iraq, or Afghan, went to both last time.  People do care (though some should be run over for certain protests during funerals) and companies are willing to give nice discounts, all you have to do is just ask.
