I had a quick question, is there anyway on the 01 CC's to lift them w/o a body lift. I was thinking about the add a leaf and cranking up the torsion bars just a little bit, just to add a couple inches of clearance mainly for look...it's a 2wd and i'm not gonna be trashing it offroad cause it's my daily driver, just wanted a little higher ride height w/o getting all crazy with the kits, plus i'm going to be installing a safari bar or center guard, however, with body lift, they can look stupid if they don't line up correctly, any suggestions or anyone know of anyone who has gotten like 2-3 inches of ride height by add a leaf/torsion bar crank? also any repurcussions on driving, as far as i know..not any major difference mechanically, correct me if i'm wrong.

Check out this right here.  I'm sure some shackles, and some front spindles will set you right where you need.

I agree with the body kit, I don't like how it looks, plus when the spacers wear out, it causes the cab to sway.  I drove a 01 4x4 here that had a body lift, swayed alot because of the oversize tires and body lift.  Thought I was going to be sick

Sorry, almost forgot the link  http://www.4x4parts.com/public_html/shop/index.php3?page=sho p/browse&category_id=cc3ee3d7a86ac6b1f85a860e6358fa91&am p;ps_session=c1ad6680f9e494e89eb10b260e0c665b

I have 4.5 in the front and three in the back but to get the front up you need new torsion bars, a arms and ball joints their is a companie in Cal. that makes the 3in lift and it flexes well also.  I have been rock crawlin a couple times and it works well.  With the lift first installed crank the torsion bars all the way up to set the a arm on the bump stop and let it settle out over time.with this lift you can squeeze 33's under it but i only have 32's. good luck.

I can't remember if 4x4parts.com had anything.  But I believe there was someone on here that did lift a 05.
