Well, I got me a new exhaust system. I junked the old hand-me-down cherrybomb with a turndown, and installed a Flowmaster 40 series with a tail pipe going all the way to the back.

Not only does it sound good, but its about a hundred thousand times quieter in the cab!

I'll post a video with sound when I have some spare time.

Also, when I had the cherrybomb on the truck had a problem if left to idle for a minute or so. It would idle rough, and the rpms would drop and fluctuate wildly. I went through all my vacuum hoses and cleaned all my sensors, but no effect. After I put the flowmaster on, it idles perfectly! Obviously, it was the muffler, any thoughts as to why?

The cherrybomb could have had so little restriction that your 02 was reading weird, and your ECU was trying to compensate

Without it being on a emission machine I couldn't tell you for sure.
