I recently bought after market fog lights for my 04 frontier. As i was putting them in i notice it was prewired ,i pluged them in but couldn't find how to turn them on. I called nissian they told me i needed a new poleswitch on my steering column, but couldn't gaurantee it would work. I'm just trying to find out if anyone else has done this and was it easy as putting new poleswitch in my sterring column

I thought about it,nissian has the switch for 75.00. I was just wondering the chance that my steering column is prewired and all i need is the switch or am i gonna have to rewire my steering column after i buy the switch or can just put the new switch in and they work
