I have a 2001 SE Crew Cab, and the front bumper has a large number of deep scratches in it.  I could get it repainted (yellow) for about $300.

However, I've been recently thinking of finding a way to break up the yellow a little, and I'm hoping this might be a good excuse.  If I wanted to try something other than repainting, what would my options be? Bumper garnishes, the black bumper look from the XE, etc.  I haven't been able to find anything online, any suggestions?

..

You might patch it with bondo, spray with a can... then get a LeBra at JC Whipme for lees than about $100.00.  I sprayed a plastic bug shied rather than use the LeBra hood cover.

Have a good one while you can still laugh about it.. Don S..

At my age my learning curve has degraded to a straight line… <snif> <snif> …

I like the look of the spray on bed linner. I painted the bumpers of my 01 with it because my bumpers were turning grayish. I think the spray on bed linner makes it look more like a real off road SUV and you can pick up a can for arround $50 or so at NAPA.
