I can't decide if I want to go with a shell for my 05 fronty or a tonneau cover.  I work for a major food distributor in sales and at least once a week I have to haul provisions to one or more of my customers who forgets to order something.  I want to keep my truck with that mean look but I also don't want to restrict what I can put in the back.  Has anyone ever had a tonneau cover?  If so how long did the material last?  I think the shell would look funny on the 05 King but maybe it wouldn't since the color would match.  I think it wouldn't get as hot inside the bed with a shell as it would with a tonneau.  Hmm, decisions decisions.

Well I have a hard toneau cover.  My review of it can be seen on my Cardomain site.  Link below page 3 I believe.

To sum it up, it really wasn't worth the money I shelled out for it.  And the soft ones out require that the holding strips be pulled out and turned 180 and reinserted.  Not much of a pain to do, but time consuming.

If you're really not wanting a shell, something to look into is the 3 piece panel toneau covers.  I can't remember the name of the company.  Basicly  it's 3 hard flat covers, each one can be removed indvidually.  And it doesn't look half bad.

Yea and did u see what some snow did to his LOL... just kidding but ne ways I personally don't like the soft bed covers, and i like the fiberglass hard shells! Even though the firberglass is more expensive it will look alot better!

the bakflip is one that my father showed me that he was looknig for for his fronty, and i kinda like it..the other one i was considering is called fold-a-cover or something, you can see it here....but i dont' believe that is the one where the individual panels can be removed..i could very wrong but from when i looked at it..i remember it being a 3 piece folding one..tho for the crew cabs i bet it's only 2 panels, again could be wrong

http://www.aztrucks.com/Product.asp?Product=231

now on that same site it also has that bakflip so you can compare the two...the thing that my father pointed out about the backflip is that it seems to sit a little more flush with the bedrails, not sure...althought this one doesn't look like it sits very high, but hard to tell from pictures on the internet, good luck also if you shop around you might be able to find a pretty good deal, some with free shipping as that site is offering on that product, but for how long i dont' know
