I have a 03 crew cab and when accelerating it seems that the motor sounds like it is running faster than the truck is just reving real load and not accelerating very fast what engine mods can i do to give my truck better acceleration

Well here's a little help.  The sticky above has a link to basis of adding some HP while still keeping stock.

But for a basic lowdown.  A K&N filter with exhaust will free up a bunch of ponies.  I think there's a CAI for our trucks.  But in my opinion, if it ain't RAM air, it's not worth it.

Usually the small, cheap mods will give you more power than the small things like a chip or something other than forced induction.. Like Kid Mil says, try a K&N filter then put an aftermarket exhaust on..

If you don't want your truck to have an aggressive sound like most aftermarkets do, Flowmaster offers a muffler that doesn't produce any more sound than a stock muffler.
