Hey everyone. Does anybody know of a company doing ECU mods to the 2005-2007 Frontiers? I am really just looking for a way to get rid of my top speed limiter.

Jet performance does ecu upgrades, but I believe you have to send your ecu to them.

I e-mailed jim wolf tech and they told me they did not have any ecu upgrades for the 1999 and newer trucks. Jet performance does require you to remove and send in your computer. I guess I will just have to wait. Thanks for the help.

by the way... i've never compleatly pushed the truck to its speed limits, other than on the 6mt tranny i cant believe that it can still almost do 40 in first about 60 or so in second and around 90 in third... about 115 in fourth... and i havnt pushed 5th to see... or let alone 6th... i imagine the truck would have lost power by then.what is the govener set at... and is it governed in final drive or somthing like 130mph... regardless of gear?

I have pushed mine to the top speed and it is set at 115mph give or take 2-mph, It will stop accelerating and hold at that speed but you can tell it cut power back. I think it has something to do with the electronic throttle.

the most i have ever gotten out of my truck is 115mph as well, not anymore though, at 80mph my tires get a nasty vibration.
but as stated above you can most likely get rid of the speed limiter at UPREV in austin. It might be expensive though, but i'm not sure
