only way to go more than 3"s is to go with a solid axle swap. with the independent front suspension, if you were to go more than 3"s the a arms would need to be extended and your front tires would stick out past the fenders. while your rear would stay how they are right now.

You can definitely go beyone 3 without having to put a solid axle in. Total Chaos has an extended long travel kit w/ uniball setup for up to an 04 frontier. not to mention you can get the after market fiberglass fenders. The kit may be a little pricey but it is worth it. Further more, you shouldn't be concerned with how high your ride sits you should think about how much travel you are getting out of your suspension and I think this kit will give you around 10" of wheel travel. And of course you can just shackle your rear end... but it all depends on what you want to put into your truck.

Once again... I forgot to mention fabtech. Shanef knows what he's talking about. Although, you have to admit hitting whoops at 60mph is pretty freaking fun. I'm just waiting for Total Chaos to come out with a setup for my truck... but now that I moved up to 4x4, I think it'll take a little longer for them to come out with a kit... I think I might check out Fabtech myself..

I HAVE A FRIEND THAT DRIVES AN OLDER TOYOTA THAT IS BUILT FROM THE GROUND UP. I MEAN EVERYTHING! HE ALSO RUNS A FABTECH SET-UP W/ A-ARMS AND A CUSTOM FOX COIL OVER DEAL. HE LOVES IT AND USES HIS TOYOTA PURELY FOR WHOMPING AND NOT FOR DAILY DRIVER. HE DID SOME EXTENSIVE SEARCHING
FOR THE IDEAL OFF-ROAD SET-UP. FABTECH PROVIDES QUALITY PARTS WITH MULTI-USE IN MIND. BUT HIS MAIN REASON IS THAT
HIS PARTS ARE EASY TO REPLACE, QUICK ORDERING AND DELIVERY, EVERYONE CARRIES FABTECH PARTS, AND FINALLY THEY WILL STAND BY THE INTEGRITY OF THEIR PARTS. I WAS SOLD ON IT.
