i talked to the guy at the nissan dealership, he says that you can buy them there, BUT, the frontiers with them from the factory have a reinforced roof and if you install them on trucks that didn't have them it will damage your roof

I'm also interested in buying a stock roof rack for a 2005 Frontier Crew Cab. I've also heard that the Nissan dealers will not install them but I am still researching it.

The nismos and LEs with it have a little metal plate that the bolts screw into no reinforcment. Keep in mind that the rack is only rated for 125lbs.
