Bads Crew;

Welcome to the Frontier group!!

Have a good one while you can still laugh about it.. Don S..

Corn Ethanol = Renewable Energy?

"When you take out more nutrients and organic matter from the soil than you put back in, you are "mining" the topsoil. The organic matter is especially important, since that’s what prevents erosion, improves soil structure, health, water retention, and gives the next crop its nutrition. Modern agriculture only addresses the nutritional component by adding fossil-fuel based fertilizers, and because the soil is unhealthy from a lack of organic matter, copes with insects and disease with oil-based pesticides."

Thanks; I like the white also. It won't show every ding and chip and the sun wont heat it up like the darker colors. I have had white before. I have been driving a Forest Green S-10 Crew Cab for three years. If you don't use the rite wax like Zano it shows every chip in the paint.
I'm looking forward to reading all I can about the Frontier. I have owned nothing but Chevrolet up until now.

Same here......I was a DIE HARD Chevy man, till I found my Fronty. I'm nothing but impressed with it, except for the mileage, lol

I just bought a Frantier Crew Cab (2007) in August.  I too owned nothing but Chevrolets for decades.  So far, I am very pleased with the Frontier.  With about 1500 miles on it and a change to Mobil 1 5W-30, my first distance trip yielded exactly 24 mpg!  I drive very sanely and kept the speed under 60 mph.  By the way, this was on 92 octane gas.

Love the look, love the color (Or lack of it?).

When corporate decisions are made by committee, you don't always get what you want (expect...).  I set out to get the 2007 SE CC in either the Desert Sand or Silver.  The Chairwoman pre-emptly nix'd the Silver color and although she'd have gone with the Sand; there were none of those available. (except an XE with power NOTHING!)

The Chairwoman said she liked 'Alert Red' so, long story short, I was able to tone that to Red Brawn and convince her she'd be more comfortable in the LE - Since it has the bigger tires, the ride would be softer, Heated leather seats (In Hawaii?)...  She bit the hook!

I'm very pleased with my Frontier, but more so, I'm pleased with the support I get/received from the local dealerships.  The Ford/Chevy(Isuzu)/Dodge dealerships did themselves in by talking more about the competition negatively than selling their own products.  Toyota was as professional as Nissan in that area, but the 'Chair' didn't like the Tacoma.

If you haven't seen it yet, check out the gallery pictures.

Aloha Ka'ko

Bob

I just ordered the vent shields for my windows and all weather mats to get me through the winter. I would have ordered my step bars but I am undecided as to what color, I don't know if I should carry the chrome down the sides to match the bumpers and use SS bars or go  with Black powder coated SS bars to match the roof rack. What do you think?

I just joined yesterday. I like the white, but I'll stick to my black.
