Hey Guys! 3 years ago the knock sensor went out on my truck. Cost me an arm and leg due to location. Shortly there after the O2 sensors one by one went out. After some tightening up, the check engine light has stayed off until recently. I took my truck in to have some oil leak work done on it...it's an 03 Nissan Frontier 3.3 with 230 thousand miles on it. I had them do a tune up while they were at it. The mechanic didn't gap the plugs causing a misfire code. Corrected that only to get a knock sensor code. Replaced that and that code repeats with EGR Valve. Changed EGR valve and now it reads knock sensor high input bank 1. What gives... any suggestions. I am broke fixing these things.

..
Sorry to hear of the problems with the truck.
From my view point I’d think an on site diagnostic check
over would be needed due to the age and mileage. There
could be problems with the wiring and connections. Most
good mechanics I know check the gap on new or used spark
plugs before they install them.
I hope someone else will jump in with some constructive
ideas to help you out.
Good Luck.. Don S..
