Hey all -

Couple weeks back had a young kid pull out in front of me without checking - mangled the front his 01 Alero. Aparently is was his third accident in a month and the poor kid is 18 in Alberta here... private insurance would eat him alive - and Daddy bailed him out with a payout.

Long story short - everything from the grill down in the front is mangled - got the settlement cheque from him and am now debating between bringing her back to stock - or installing a shrockworks full-hoop. Got going down the shrockworks path and decided it would look silly with factory ride height; need a lift too... 0

Here's my questions - I've been babysitting my boys and cruising the forums all afternoon -

1) I'm somewhat set on the shrockworks - any chance of a Canadian depot - or am I shipping this thing cross border to canada?

I'm pretty set on the Calmini 5" lift -

2) Will the Shrockworks skidplate integrate with the Calmini kit? I see the Cal has its own skid - but I'm more of a fan of the shrockworks..

3) Can I run the setup on my factory rims (SE 16") untill I find the cash to upgrade - or do I need spacers immediatly?

4) Anything else I should be considering? This is my first jump from street to 4x4 upgrades... decided my days of racing mustangs in my oil town are done.. :)

Thanks guys - any help is more than appreciated..
