how much abuse will stock suspension be able to take? such as 2-4 foot high jumps in the sand dunes. or high speed desert runs.

It depends upon your truck... I had a 90 that I jumped around 100 ft going 60 MPH. She landed hard, but nothing broke.... THANK GOD. Wild high school days

Beefer rear springs, bolts, shackles, shocks... etc. Maybe welding in some support tubing along the frame rail.

It all depends upon how serious the offroading is going to be.

its a 4x4 and i will be off roading in the sand dunes mainly. so if i get beefier leaf springs it will be enough for taking harsh landings? also what front set up will work well?

it's weird about making things beefier... it's strengthens the vehicle, but also makes it more prone to breaking.

Honestly, a good set of shocks, Rancho makes awesome ones... will be your best bet. Also, some lift kits might offer better spindles that can take the abuse.

do you have any info on the 4x4parts.com 3" lift kit? it seems like a pretty good deal.

i just found this 4 link kit does anybody know anything on it?

and if i take out my front cv axles would the total chaos 2wd hardbody kit work? since the 2wd and 4wd were very similar it seems like it might work...

I can't say for sure on removing the front axles.

But the 4 link would be a great way to go. It will allow alot of travel for the rear axle for when it's needed, like landing.
