Im haveing problems with my radio I have tacken my factory radio out and put in a aftermarket radio in my 2006 frontier when the radio gets hot the radio sound gets lower if i blow in the back of the radio when it acts up it works ok till i stop I have ran new hot wire from the battery to the radio and ran a new ground to the radio I have put two radios in my truck and they both are doing the same the wirring harness avalable wasup to 2005 frontier I have never had this problem with puting radios in before( Does any one know what the problem is I don't )

if the radio is overheating then i could be tons of problems. First it could be
blown speakers. Second you could have a speaker wire grounded out
(touching metal). If your factory radio is doing this get rid of it. If your
aftermarket radio is doing this then you need to look at the brand. You can
tell a lot about the radio by the brand and how much you paid for the radio.
If its an Alpine,Pioneer,Kenwood or Panisonic then you probably just need to
reset them any other radios are crap and need to be tossed. If you have the
rockford fosegate system then you could have a bad amp(factory) if thats the
case you just need to bypass it.
