Well not only when I downshift to second gear but just pushing in the clutch in first or second gear generates a metallic whining sound. It's a 2001, 5 speed, been run hard. Do these symptons sound familair to anyone. Oh I had the fluid level checked in the transmission - it's OK so that's not it.
