ok so i have a 2001 sc frontier and i am tired of changing the knock sensor i heard that i can just hard wire in a resisator........gut what size?

i'm assuming you have taken it to the dealer if this has been a recurring problem, if not, that might be a good idea.....but first..what grade gas you feeding your S/C? from what i've heard if you are feeding it anythign but the premium stuff you will do your knock sensors in quick

well it only gets the best ....premium grade chevron. I am really tired of this thing falling on its face after about 20 min of driving time

yeah i like the chevron too..but since i'm not in an S/C it gets the regular grade unles i go for mid grade now and then..but i try to every 3-4 months like the nissan guy told me...dump a tank of premium in there with BG44K to clean the fuel system up..which could very well be a ploy to sell me BG44K since i only seem to find it at the nissan dealer at 16 bucks/can but well i guess it is a good thing to do..it's the same stuff they use to clean injectors out...i'd just say take it to the dealer man...i tried to do a little research with no luck but i'm limited on time right now
