The alarm on my crewcab keeps going off. I have had this problem for over 2 years. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I have had the truck to the
shop a few times but they say that they cannot find the problem unless the alarm is sounded. I have had it there overnite and when the alarm did go off, by the time they got to the truck, the alarm was off. This is getting to be a real nuisance.
I had the alarm system replaced.....all was good for about 6 months and now it is going off for no reason at all. I noticed that when the sun'warmed' the exterior of the truck, at certain times, the alarm would go off. It used to go off in the middle of the nite before I had a new alarm module installed. It seems to be getting worse now. I have asked to have it dis-abled but was told that this cannot be done. It is a part of the electrical system. I am wondering if a loose ground can cause this----when the temperature increases , can the connections cause this situation.
