Hi, I recently purchased a 2022 2x2 Frontier crew cab. I
hooked it up to a 26 ft travel traveler and tried to back
it up. After a few seconds, the brakes suddenly engaged. I
was still able to back up, but only if I kept it at one
mile an hour. Is there an over-ride to what I'm guessing is
a safety precaution. My Frontier obviously interprets the
trailer behind me as if it was another vehicle blocking my
path. Thanks.

Traveler,
Something is NOT Working Right.
There should not be a problem with the Brake's when you
are Backing the Trailer.
Get it checked out, if you can't do it yourself.
