I have a 2001 xe 6 cylinder 4x4. I have replaced the fuel
pump and my mechanic says to replace the fuel sending
unit. I purchased one from a dealer part #25060-4S426. I
am being told that pigtail on my vehicle will not match
up with this new unit. Nissan claims it should. My
mechanic got a pigtail from car quest and claims that it
is exactly the same as the one on my truck and does not
fit the new unit. Nissan wiring harness for this has been
discontinued. I am totally frustrated and do not want to
pay more for dropping the tank to see if new unit will
connect to existing connector.
Any help would be appreciated.
