How is a bad BCM detected/diagnosed? I've got an 05
that's having all kinds of rear light issues. The only
light that works on the back is the left turn signal. No
brake lights, tail lights, license plate lights, or
right turn signal. This has been a progressive problem -
they didn't all stop at once. I've been told it could
possibly be the BCM is going bad. How can I find out if
the BCM is bad? Thanks.

Have you checked the obvious like bad bulbs, bad ground,
corroded wires. Does it have an after market trailer
harness?

I've checked all the usual suspects but am going to look
closer at the trailer wiring a previous owner
installed.I purchased a new BCM and installed it but
haven't had it programmed. It didn't help.
