2003, King Cab, 2.4
Had a 400w power inverter in the power outlet center console
charging a laptop (maybe dumb). The power would fade, kill, then
start up again. Then everything went dead. Thought it was the
inverter, but works fine in cig lighter by the radio. Plug the male
back into the power outlet and the LED lights up when you plug it
in. When you turn on the inverter, the LED goes VERY dim, and
nothing happens with the inverter. I tried replacing the CIG
LIGHTER fuse, nothing. I tried replacing the "POWER SUPPLY" (or
something like that) fuse next to the battery under the hood,
confirmed that it was, indeed, the POWER OUTLET fuse, but a new
fuse didn't do the job. Just a faint LED light up.
What-What-What?!?!?
Thanks for reading!

Welcome to the group!
If the new fuses will carry a load the there might be another limiting device in the line or a bad connection.
Check and see how that plugin is grounded or even add another ground to it.
Good Luck.. Don S..
