Hi, i have a 2001 frontier 3.3L. I have an oil leak that collects in my bell cover housing. i recently replaced my starter and there was a small but constant stream of oil running. I have replaced the valve cover gasket and the oil leak remains. I called nissan and they said that is rare for the rear main seal to leak, but they would not give me any information as to where the leak might be,

Please help.

There is a gasket on the rear main seal retainer that will
suck in and create a leak, either way the trans will need
to come out(easier to pull the trans instead of the
engine). I have also seen the oil pans leak in the left
rear corner.
