I recently purchased new front and rear splash guards for my frontier. My question the rear set came with a protective tape to be installed on the painted surface. Is this really necessary ? I messed up one side and the front guards did not come with the protective tape......

I would recomend ussing the tape it can prevent the plastic from rubbing the paint off and rusting out on you!
