Does anyone happen to know how much it costs on average to have the timing belt replaced on the 3.3L v6 model?

When we do a TB, the water pump, 2 fr cam seals, fr crank
seal, tensioner and 3 drive belts are replaced as needed.
5.5 hrs labor, not sure on all the parts prices. New water
pumps from Auto Zone are much cheaper than Nissan and we
have had no issues with them.

Hey thanks, I just got my 03 frontier, CC, V6, 5 speed, awesome truck. Its got 99k on it and the TB has not been replaced. Is there a certain mileage thats critical on this motor, as in will the belt break soon?

The owners manual calls for replacement @ 105K although I
have replaced them at around 80K due to looseness and
rattling(makes it sound like marbles rattling in the
distributor).

Yeah I dropped it off today to have it changed. Didnt wanna risk losing the motor. I just got a new set of boston acoustic speakers for the truck as well, should sound real nice.

Good thing you mentioned the symptoms because mean already sounds rattling especially when the truck is idle you can hear the loud noise coming from the engine. I just hope nothing needs to be replaced aside from the TB. so far nothing is leaking from the engine. where do you guys get your nissan parts? just asking so i will be ready for repairs in the future.
