2006 nismo frontier when i start the truck and drive for a while the truck heats up fine but if i let it idle i get cold air.i have to run the truck up to 1500 rpms to get the heat back.temp gage stays up ok

Make sure your coolant is topped up....the expansion/overflow tank should be up to the Full mark. If you're low, check your transmission fluid to make sure it hasn't gone in there. When my coolant was low I could actually hear a gurgling sound in the cab when I shut the truck down.

Mine doesn't warm up well lately and I've heard that
gurgling sound, too. I'm gonna check my coolant. Thanks.
