Hello guys, I have a 2010 frontier 6 cyl, auto. Everytime I brake, my tach
jumps 2 or 3 times. I can feel the surge. At first I thought it might be
downshifting, but it seems I can feel the surge fight my braking. I have
owned other Nissans, and none have done this before. The tach will jump
from around 800 to a little over 1000. Enough to totally annoy me when I
drive it. Anyone else notice this with their trucks?

It may have to do with the configuration of the engine
braking(done by the transmission). Your dealer should be
able to reconfigure it to your liking.
