Truck when idling will jump from 500 rpm to about 1800 rpm, and will continue to do this until you put it in gear and drive away, but when you come to the next stop it will do the same thing.  Thanks for your help

Have you cleaned the throttle plate?

Does it have an aftermarket air filter or GENUINE NISSAN oil impregnated air filter??? Any dirt/debris in the hole going to the MAFS fine wires?? Clean and tighten all engine grounds, as already mentioned -clean throttle bore and blade- perform idle adjustment as per service manual.< id="gwProxy" ="">< ="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" ="">

It's a genuine nissan filter...there doesn't appear to be anything inside the maf hole.
