Help!! i have recently purchased a 2005 Frontier Crew Cab. Had no problems the first few days. THEN upon acceleration up inclines i get a horrible vibration around 40mph. what could this be? appears to be only in the back. i thought maybe ujoints? it goes away when you speed up or slow down.

Do you feel it on the steering wheel?
I belive the truck does not have U joints, but has CV joints. Are their any noises with the vibrations?

no noise. just vibration. almost like you are on a very bumpy road. but not.

My guess would be a drive shaft U-joint. Let us know what city you live in/near... maby a fellow Texian could help figure out what it is. I live in the far SW DFW area.

I would check the u-joints on the Fr and rear driveshafts. I believe the rear only has one. They may not be loose, but look for rust around the cup seals, they may be binding.< id="gwProxy" ="">< ="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" ="">
