  Hi all!

I have gremlins and I am hoping someone can help me. They are running amock in my electrical system.

I am sure there are logical reasons my one-owner '00 Frontier's cruise control doesn't work; its passenger window won't go up and down, and the auto on the driver's window doesn't work either.

However, when I turned my heater to blow on my legs and my dash lights went out on the way to work @ 5 am...well, then I knew I had gremlins!

Can anyone help me with my issues? Do I have to do a complete rewire? I hope not, cause I will be doing most of the wrenching myself if I can.

Just let me know what other information ya'll need to help. Thank you guys!!

Well when dealing with electrical it's easiest to start at the source and move towards the load, and the finally the ground.

Since it starts and some items work obviously not your battery.  Next step is to check your fuses.  If those are good and you're getting power through those then check the switches themselves.

Also check the ground connections to the frame/body as well as the battery connections themselves.  Make sure the grounds are tight and corrosion free (road salt).  On the battery, you might want to take the cables off and clean the posts and the clamps really well to make sure you have good contact.  Grounds and bad connections can make wierd electrical problems.
